Doug wanted to cover this. I didn't hear the original until after we recorded this cover. I think this recording is the first time we ever played it. I played keyboard (Novation K-Station); Doug was trying to sightread the chords off sheet-music. Also he told me a story once about how when he was younger, his girlfriend stole his copy of this record. Or, he stole his girlfriend's copy of this record. I don't remember.
