can anyone hear the clock ticking? the wheels are in motion. you turn around, you turn around; you're on the inside. can anyone hear the clock ticking? the wheels are in motion. particle board ceilings, temp walls, fluorescent lights. don't preach simplicity to me. you're not so cute when you're angry. moving to a place where you can sit with the elected, and bury me in business casual. is it in fashion? or the last gasp of a vanishing past, i was breathing just fine. study up on history, it's not going down easy. dig me a home where the buffalo roam. you sit and you wait and you hope for an outlet, to be your medicine. you sit and you wait and you hope for an outlet, to come and save you. you sit and you wait and you hope for an outlet, to be your medicine. it's your medicine. yeah, this is learning to survive. where's the seam? you can't afford your daydreams. where's the seam? we can't afford to daydream.

sharks (free) 03:30
trading mediocrity for nothing if you look up, you will find me. throwing something i've been building out the highest window i can find. from my trembling fingertips to the sidewalk under your feet i'll carve a perfect moment between here and the street far below. recreating feelings only found in accidents one night i lost a lover who could make me cry again because nothing hits as hard or cuts quite as deep. i need to feel time and time again that loss of control that only animals can get. ravenous consumption, every burning second, sharks and blood. if you try to forget it, you're only gonna regret it. standing, staring at destruction god it hurts like hell to know you gotta disassemble what you loved to know you loved it. if you try to forget it, you're only gonna regret it. i think there's a lesson to be found here.

you are getting sneaky in the head. you are concocting tricky ways to justify the things you said. i think it's subconscious, and i'm the proxy for your failed transmissions. but i aim to please. you can't steer me onto busy highways. it'll take something special to get me suffocating in my sleep. i filled out the entire test before the multiple choices were even shown; i made a picture with the circles. i hadn't even taken notes. i saw you, when you pulled out the page i just hid behind the corner. your friends too, you collect them in a case but you keep them out of order. it was brand new. the connection is a waste if there's no one at the border. it was brand new. all these quarters are a waste when the meter's out of order.

in the end i thought you'd get it but it seems like you will never let it let up or set in. sometimes we sacrifice ourselves, and give up some comfort for our friends. in the end i thought you'd get it but it seems like you will never let it let up or set in. as we lose our common ground again, i give up my privilege to pretend. i have been bound and blinded by you. unconcerned as i let your thesis really knock me up. i have faced the fear of acting alone. scared but better off on my own. we only knew one song and yeah, i helped you sing it time and again. when you hit it head on, you really got me screaming "woohoo, woohoo." now the time has come for you to leave it but you're driving it in. the song's ended but your lips keep moving along: "woohoo, woohoo." why fake an output? it's swallowing all your time. say "it's hopeless." why fake an output? it's written in neon lights. pilots are carving it into the sky. why fake an output? tired and tongue-tied. say "i'm helpless." why waste an outlet? it's not gonna work this time. you can't pass the lie. it's too late to self-crucify. so who was more deluded? you for thinking you could beat them, or me for believing you? i retrace my footsteps and you manicure the hand around your throat. you can't fail a drop-out.

encoded to fool others (free) 03:53
it's so simple that there's no debate. even soon can often be too late. and if you really wanted nothing, then it would be alright. and if you really wanted nothing, then what's left to decide? words as simple as "procrastinate." only serve so as to complicate. and if you really wanted nothing, then it would be alright. and if you really wanted nothing, well what's left to decide? well i liked you more when you had the nerve to say anything you wanted. inhibitions kill, inhibitions dig the graves for those who want them. allegations, insinuating, something you assumed about me. define your definitions. if anything, you're far too modest for your own good. and anyway, it's not like you've got anything to hide. you've got a lot to say and to create.
